WHEN I WAS SIX YEARS OLD…..

When I was SIX YEARS OLD ……..

I was young and full of life and nothing could pull me down.
I loved Hellos and I hated Goodbyes.
I threw my tooth on the rooftop the first time I lost my tooth.
I struggled to write my full name because it was too long.

WHEN I WAS SIX YEARS OLD ……..
I realized that if someone does not like your mother , they do not like you either.
I learnt how to count and read too.
I learnt how to say ‘Thank you, Please and  I am sorry .”
I made new friends and we have been friends for over a decade now .

WHEN I WAS SIX YEARS OLD……

I struggled to  hold the pencil and my classmates would make fun of me because I am left handed.
I never had anyone who had schooled me about death and when my classmate passed away , I believed that she would come back to school.

WHEN I WAS SIX YEARS OLD…..
I always looked up to my sister and I believed that she was my super hero.
This is because the two of us would walk to school, to the library and church together.
I looked up in the sky and believed that the sky is THE LIMIT.
