Title: The monk who sold his Ferrari
Author: Robin Sharma
Overall rating: 4/5
The monk who sold his Ferrari is a fable about Julian Mantle who chose to find meaning and purpose in his life. After having a heart attack, Julian chose wisdom rather than riches represented by a Ferrari. In this fable, the reader embarks on a journey with Julian and learns that there are a lot of things that money cannot buy. The self-help book has insightful lessons that one can apply in his or her life. The lessons from the book will allow the reader to reflect on his or her life. Below are some of my highlights from the book.

*Use time wisely
*Eat healthy foods-the foods that we eat have an impact on our physical appearance and some foods will also affect how we think.
*Be faithful to your routine-Routines are good, they are a guide for the day. When we become faithful to our routines they become a part of our lives.
*Surround yourself with the right people- spend time with people who want the best for you.
*Fill your space with fruitful and productive information- You are what you read and watch. Read and watch content that has a positive impact on your life.
*Be open to change and learning something new-Don’t be a rigid person but be willing to try something new.
*Family is everything-dedicate time you will spend with your loved ones. Get to know how their day is and how they are.
Live your best life each day, choose to be happy each day.
Favourite quote
“It is only when you have mastered the art of loving yourself that you can truly love others. It’s only when you have opened your own heart that you can touch the hearts of others. When you feel centred and alive, you are in a much better position to be a better person.”
