Going down memory lane (10)

C’s experience

🌻How would you rate your high school years out of 10?

I would rate them at a 7/10

🌻What was the worst thing that happened to you when you were in high school?

Had to really think on this one, most of the bad times were during punishments.
Was once punished to brush my teeth with a whole tube of toothpaste by a teacher who disliked me.

🌻What was your favourite subject and why?

This is quite easy, Literature was my best subject, apart from loving to read we also had quite a cool teacher.
We enjoyed listening to her teach (she had a beautiful British accent plus she gave us alot of reign in expression and free time to read and study.
Her class never felt like a class it was an exploration.

🌻Who was your role model?

If you mean at the school (s) laughable but none.

If it’s while in high school it was Condolezza Rice ,Oprah Winfrey.

🌻What are some of the lessons or skills that you acquired from high school?

Lessons i learned early on were on friendship treat others how you would want to be treated. Loyalty, Kindness ,Giving.

I made some pretty good friends who stuck out their necks for me in high school.
They were worth it.

A skill to be honest nothing I can pinpoint especially with high school.

🌻Did you ever feel like there was a time you were treated unfairly?

Yes by a particular teacher one mentioned in question 2, always felt like she had a vendetta against me in particular.

🌻What was your favourite place at school and why?

Favourite place could have been the library but they didn’t let us talk hehehe so it became my room.
My room was always a gathering place of sorts, lots of stories, games, eating.

🌻If you had the opportunity to change anything from your high school experience what would that be?

I had a good High school experience ,I definitely would have changed the bit of getting expelled from one of the schools I went to because I did truly enjoy my time there but I was reckless and my naughtiness got the best of me but I relish all experiences I got along the journey.
